Market Development of Mango and Durian Value Chains

Objectives   

The aim of the workshop is to share experiences and update new advanced techniques and scientific findings among experts from institutions and partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
Specific objective:

  • Exchange knowledge and experiences in seasonal harvesting diversity, pest and disease safe management options, proper post-harvest treatments for high value markets of tropical fruit crops, mango and durian in particular.
  • Strengthen international cooperation between countries growing tropical fruits.
  • Increase public awareness on the techniques and markets of selected tropical fruit crops.
